Dennis Masback received a BFA and MFA from Washington University in St. Louis in 1971 and 1973.  In 1991, he was awarded a Visual Arts Fellowship from The National Endowment for the Arts.  His work has been featured in Artforum and reviewed by The New York Times, Artforum and ARTnews.  In 1993, he began teaching painting and drawing at Pratt Institute and retired as Adjunct Professor of Fine Arts in 2018. He lives and works in Branford, CT.
